Healcisio is excited to announce that its deep learning model for the early prediction of sepsis (COMPOSER) is now live in two emergency departments in the UC San Diego Health system. This milestone is the culmination of extensive peer-reviewed publications, clinical silent-mode evaluations, and deep collaborations with UC San Diego physicians, nurses, and Health IT.

COMPOSER monitors all patients in the emergency department continuously in real-time to evaluate their risk of developing sepsis. It then alerts the nursing team of high-risk patients to enable timely administration of antibiotics.
